Retail Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Explain product features, benefits, pricing, promotions, and available offers.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.

2. Product & Inventory Management

• Ensure products are properly displayed, labeled, and well-stocked.
• Monitor stock levels and report low-stock, damaged, or missing items.
• Assist with stock replenishment and inventory counts.
• Maintain proper product arrangement according to company and store guidelines.
• Check product prices, barcodes, and promotional materials for accuracy.

3. Store Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned selling area.
• Follow store policies, procedures, and operating standards.
• Ensure proper handling of company and store equipment.
• Assist in receiving, transferring, and organizing stocks when required.
• Support store activities, events, product launches, and promotional campaigns.

4. Sales Reporting & Documentation

• Record daily sales and customer transactions accurately.
• Submit required sales, inventory, and activity reports on time.
• Monitor and report sales performance, customer feedback, and product concerns to the supervisor.
• Provide updates on competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and market observations when applicable.

5. Merchandising & Promotions

• Implement approved merchandising standards and promotional displays.
• Ensure promotional materials, price tags, and product information are properly displayed.
• Participate in mall/store events, product demonstrations, and promotional activities.
• Maintain the visibility and availability of assigned brands and products.

6. Compliance & Professional Conduct

• Follow company policies, mall/store regulations, and work schedules.
• Observe proper attendance, timekeeping, grooming, and uniform standards.
• Safeguard company products, equipment, and other assets.
• Perform other sales and operational duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
