Qualifications and Standards

• Preferably College or High School Diploma
• Basic computer literate
• Active listening and good communication skills
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Can work multitasking and perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest feels care for, valued, and respected
• Escorts customers to accommodations
• Greets customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
• Directs and instructs the dining room personnel on customer needs to ensure fast and quality service from the moment they arrive
• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name
• Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
• Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
