Branch Supervisor

Job Description:

A. Manpower

• Assist in recruiting and training staff for the branch
• Recommend hiring of personnel for the branch
• Prepare shift schedules for staff
• Check attendance and punctuality of staff
• Monitor staff overtime and manage overtime cost
• Implement disciplinary action on erring staff
• Recommend rewards/incentives for outstanding staff
• Ensure compliance of staff to company policies and procedures
• Check health and sanitation permits of staff
• Check health, grooming, and personal hygiene of staff

B. Machines

• Report maintenance requirements of branch premises to Operations Manager or Area Manager for proper and immediate action
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of premises
• Ensure all facilities/equipment in the branch are in good working condition
• Ensure compliance of branch to BIR, City Hall, and other government requirements
• Regularly check signages (neon, lights, counter signages, menuboards)

C. Money & Materials

• Ensure accomplishment of sales and cost targets of the branch
• Attend regular meetings with mall administration in the absence of Operations/Area Manager
• Make accurate bank deposits and ensure no cash shortages or losses
• Procure cash for change and ensure the daily change fund is adequate
• Prepare daily inventory report and check stock inventories (daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure all items are accounted for
• Prepare order requisitions accurately and ensure availability of all items
• Check food display and ensure standards are met
• Check accuracy of daily cash flow reports
• Maintain communications and sales logbooks

D. Marketing & Promotions

• Suggest and implement marketing and promotions strategies to increase sales
• Prepare promotional tags and signs as necessary
• Ensure collaterals reflect correct pricing and are in good condition
