What you need to know about the job

Job Summary:

The R&D Associate for Product Development and Benchmarking is responsible for leading the research, formulation, and development of new food products that meet the company’s quality, cost, and market requirements. The role supports the creation and testing of innovative items, conducts product trials, and evaluates the acceptability of developed formulations.

The R&D Associate ensures that all development activities align with product specifications, food safety regulations, and customer expectations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in food product development or R&D, preferably in food manufacturing
• Proficient in handling laboratory equipment.
• Ability to perform standardized testing methods.
• Proper sample preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with ISO, FDA or internal quality standards.
• Ability to follow validated test methods accurately.
• Knowledge of raw materials, ingredients, chemicals, and their functional properties.
• Understanding interactions and compatibility of components in formulations.
• Ability to calibrate, validate, and maintain testing instruments.
• Ensures accurate and repeatable measurement results.

Curious about the Work Schedule?

• Compressed work schedule: Monday to Thursday (6am – 5pm) and Friday (7am – 4pm)
• No work on Saturdays and Sundays.
