Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing, splicing, and terminating fiber optic and copper cables in OSP environments.
• Performing maintenance and repairs on OSP infrastructure, including aerial and underground cables, poles, and conduit.
• Conducting site surveys and assessments to plan OSP installations and upgrades.
• Collaborating with engineers and other technicians to design OSP networks and solutions.
• Testing and troubleshooting OSP infrastructure to identify and resolve issues.
• Adhering to safety regulations and company policies when working in OSP environments.
• Keeping accurate records of all OSP installations, maintenance, and repair work performed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months to 1 year experience as Internet Lineman.
• Completion of a telecommunications or related technical program is preferred.
• Relevant experience in OSP installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Knowledge of OSP construction practices and standards.
• Familiarity with OSP tools and equipment, such as fiber splicers, cable testers, and excavation tools.
• Ability to read and interpret OSP drawings, schematics, and construction plans.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment
• Valid Driver's License.
