Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Chinese technical staff in quantity take-off and cost estimation
  • Support preparation and submission of progress billing applications to the employer
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of variation orders (VO) and related claims
  • Work closely with the Contract Engineer on contract administration and documentation
  • Perform quantity measurement and calculations based on project drawings
  • Support cost monitoring and project evaluation for road and bridge works


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in construction or Quantity Surveying rolesProven experience in road and bridge engineering projects
  • Strong ability to read construction drawings and perform quantity take-offs independently
  • Experience working on projects under the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is preferred
  • Knowledge of DPWH Standard Specifications for Highways, Bridges and Airports (2013 Edition)
  • Familiar with the 2016 Revised IRR of Republic Act No. 9184 (Government Procurement Reform Act)
  • Experience in preparing progress billing, variation orders, and contract-based claims documentation
