Responsibilities:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements, setting priorities.
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, plans, specifications, and related documents.
• Computes cost factors and prepares estimates for submission to customers and for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining the cost-effectiveness of jobs produced versus job estimates.
• Prepares accurate cost estimates for fit-out and refurbishment projects, including analysis of materials, labor, subcontractor costs, and project timelines.
• Evaluates offers to purchase by costing changes and additions.
• Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.
• Ensures that sales products are packaged and presented to the market as accurately as possible to achieve the best outcome.
• Communicates and liaises with different departments such as sales, drafting, and estimating teams to achieve the best results.
• Reviews and understands related documents such as covenants and Development Applications (DAs) to ensure accurate project information.

Requirements:

• Graduate of BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably with at least 1-2 years BPO (Australian) experience
• Knowledgeable in CUBIT software
• Proven experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or a related role.
• Knowledgeable in fit-out and refurbishment estimating, with the ability to accurately assess project costs, materials, labor, and subcontractor requirements.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
• With experience in dealing with suppliers.
• With strong oral and written English communication skills
