JAYAR INC. is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical) to join our team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 5 years experience in mechanical quantity surveying, estimation, and cost control

• Knowledgeable in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping systems, and construction processes

• Proficient in MS Excel and estimation software

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical works

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping, and mechanical equipment

• Monitor project costs, variations, and budgets

• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, billing, and supplier proposals

• Coordinate with project engineers, procurement teams, and site personnel

• Prepare billing documents, variation orders, and project cost reports

• Maintain proper documentation related to project costing and contracts
