Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in electrical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and construction processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for electrical works.
  • Analyze electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for electrical installations.
  • Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison reports.
  • Assist in procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
  • Review contractor claims, variations, and change orders.
  • Conduct site visits to verify work progress and quantities.
  • Ensure electrical project costs remain within the approved budget.
  • Support the preparation of project tender documents.
