Quality Assurance Engineer

The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products manufactured meet all specified quality standards before they are shipped or proceed to the next stage of production. This position involves inspecting materials, components, and finished products, identifying defects, and working closely with the production team to maintain and improve product quality. The QC Inspector plays a key role in maintaining the consistency and reliability of the company's products.

• Inspect Materials and Products: Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Testing and Measurement: Perform tests using appropriate measurement tools, gauges, and instruments to verify product dimensions, performance, and other quality criteria.
• Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspection results, including any non-conformities or defects identified. Ensure compliance with quality control documentation standards.
• Identify and Report Defects: Identify, document, and report any product defects, discrepancies, or irregularities to the production team and management. Work with the team to resolve issues promptly.
• Corrective and Preventive Actions: Participate in root cause analysis of quality issues and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions or preventive measures to avoid recurrence of defects.
• Compliance with Standards: Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company-specific quality policies (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP).
• Process Improvement: Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements related to production, handling, or quality control methods that could enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Calibration of Equipment: Regularly calibrate and maintain inspection tools, testing equipment, and machinery to ensure accurate measurements and consistent quality evaluations.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure that the work environment adheres to safety regulations and that proper hygiene practices are followed, particularly when handling sensitive or hazardous materials.
• Collaboration with Production Team: Work closely with the production staff to ensure a clear understanding of quality standards and support quality improvements across the production line.

• Education:
• High school diploma/Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Certification or degree in Quality Control, Manufacturing, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience:
• Previous experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment (typically 1-3 years or more).
• Familiarity with quality control methods, tools, and computer is highly preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to spot defects or irregularities.
• Proficient in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Good communication skills for reporting defects and collaborating with other departments.
• Familiarity with statistical quality control techniques
• Leadership skills
