The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, identifying defects, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to maintain product consistency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Monitoring and Inspection

• Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and identify deviations from specifications.
• Perform quality tests and measurements using appropriate tools and equipment.

2. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and test results.
• Prepare quality reports and present findings to management.
• Ensure proper documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.

3. Process Improvement

• Identify root causes of defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Work with production teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma.

4. Compliance and Standards

• Ensure products meet company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
• Support internal and external quality audits.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) or other relevant quality systems.

5. Collaboration

• Coordinate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality issues.
• Train employees on quality procedures and standards when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with management systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
