Job Summary

The QC Staff is responsible for inspecting and monitoring the quality of raw materials, in-process products, and finished corrugated boxes to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications. The role involves conducting quality checks, identifying defects, recording inspection results, and coordinating with production teams to maintain consistent product quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Raw Material Inspection

• Inspect incoming raw materials such as linerboard, medium paper, ink, adhesives, and other materials used in corrugated box production.
• Verify materials meet required specifications and report non-conforming materials to the QC Supervisor

2. In-Process Quality Control

• Conduct routine inspections during production processes including corrugating, printing, die-cutting, slotting, and folding.
• Check product dimensions, print quality, bonding strength, and structural integrity of corrugated boards.
• Identify defects and immediately report issues to the production team for corrective action.

3. Finished Goods Inspection

• Perform final inspection of finished products before delivery or warehouse storage.
• Ensure finished goods comply with customer specifications, product design, and quality standards.

4. Testing and Measurement

• Conduct quality tests such as burst strength test, edge crush test (ECT), and other required quality measurements for corrugated boards.
• Use inspection tools such as calipers, measuring tapes, and testing equipment.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Record inspection results, defects, and corrective actions in quality reports.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation for monitoring and auditing purposes.

6. Coordination and Continuous Improvement

• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and QA teams to address quality issues.
• Assist in identifying root causes of defects and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
