About the role


SYC Philippine Corporation, a leading construction company, is seeking a dedicated QC Inspector to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a full-time QC Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout our construction projects. Your expertise will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our developments.

What you'll be doing

  1. Inspect construction materials, equipment, and installation processes to verify compliance with project specifications, building codes, and quality standards
  2. Identify and report any non-conformities or defects, and work with the team to implement corrective actions
  3. Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspections, test results, and documentation
  4. Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues
  5. Provide training and guidance to construction personnel on quality control procedures
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a QC Inspector in the construction industry
  2. Strong knowledge of building codes, construction materials, and quality control practices
  3. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  6. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
  7. Strong organisational and time management skills
