Quality Control and Research and Development Manager in Calumpit Bulacan

Reports To: General Manager

Role Overview

Lead the Quality Control and R&D functions to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in PVC manufacturing. This role is responsible for managing laboratory operations, improving product formulations, resolving quality issues, and driving innovation and cost-efficiency initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the QC and R&D team.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and ISO standards.
• Oversee testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and improve PVC formulations and processes.
• Manage BOMs, technical documentation, and laboratory resources.
• Collaborate with Production and other departments to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• Registered Chemist is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in PVC/plastics formulation and compounding.
• Experience in QC, R&D, and quality management systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
