Job Summary:

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all HVAC installation works comply with approved plans, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes and regulations. The position involves conducting inspections, monitoring work quality, identifying non-conformities, implementing corrective actions, and supervising installation teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruitment, evaluation, and selection of HVAC technicians, installers, and other project personnel as required.

• Supervise, lead, and manage HVAC installation teams to ensure quality workmanship, productivity, and compliance with project requirements.

• Plan, assign, and monitor daily work activities of site personnel to ensure timely completion of project milestones.

• Conduct inspections of HVAC installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Monitor and verify the quality of materials, equipment, and workmanship used in HVAC projects.

• Prepare and maintain quality control reports, inspection records, and documentation.

• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and contractors regarding quality-related concerns.

• Identify non-conforming works and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Witness testing, commissioning, and performance verification of HVAC systems.

• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, industry standards, and client requirements.

• Review technical documents, method statements, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).

• Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to applicable safety and quality regulations.

• Assist in project turnover activities and preparation of quality documentation.

• Participate in internal and external quality audits when required.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.

• Preferably a Licensed Mechanical Engineer.

• Experience in HVAC installation, QA/QC, or project engineering is an advantage.

• Knowledgeable in HVAC systems, testing and commissioning procedures, and quality standards.

• Proficient in reading engineering drawings, plans, and technical specifications.

• Proven ability to recruit, evaluate, and recommend skilled HVAC technicians, installers, subcontractors, and project personnel as required by project demands.

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop installation teams to achieve project objectives.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

• Willing to conduct site inspections and fieldwork.
