Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the company’s business model and tailor procurement strategies accordingly.

• Identify whether procurement involves fixed product categories for internal use or diverse categories driven by customer requirements.

• Define and manage the scope of procurement, including products and services.

• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, whether from a fixed pool or through self-sourcing.

• Conduct supplier market research and self-sourcing activities to expand supplier options.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.

• Ensure procurement practices are scalable and adaptable to company size (large or small operations).

• Collaborate with Finance, Logistics, Sales, and Strategy teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.

• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and competitor activities to refine procurement strategies.

• Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities, supplier negotiations, and cost analyses.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Transportation, Business Management, Accounting, Legal or an equivalent qualification

• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.

• Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to secure favorable supplier terms.

• Ability to analyze supplier markets and develop effective sourcing strategies.

• Experience working with both fixed supplier pools and self-sourcing environments.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems is an advantage.
