Responsibilities

• Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and convert them into Purchase Orders (PO) following company procedures
• Source and evaluate suppliers for eyewear frames, lenses, contact lenses, and clinic supplies
• Conduct price canvassing and cost comparison to ensure competitive pricing
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with branches
• Track orders and ensure on-time delivery of goods
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status, delays, and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier contracts
• Inspect delivered items and ensure quality and completeness
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities, expenses, and inventory status
• Assist in vendor negotiations to achieve better pricing and terms
• Coordinate with warehouse/store staff to ensure proper receiving and stocking
• Perform other procurement-related tasks as assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• At least 1 year experience in purchasing, procurement, or retail operations (optical/medical retail is an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management
• Good negotiation and supplier management skills
• Proficient in MS Excel and inventory systems
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure
• Strong communication and coordination skills
