Purchasing Supervisor

Job Description

• Sourcing and Supplier Management:
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, delivery time, and reliability. 
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. 
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth and efficient procurement processes.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and identify areas for improvement.
• Procurement Process:
• Receive and process purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Monitor order status and expedite delivery to meet agreed deadlines.
• Verify and approve invoices for payment.
• Ensure that all purchases are in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the Purchasing Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
• Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, vendor management, and negotiations.
• Proficiency in using purchasing software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
