PURCHASING ASSISTANT (PROCUREMENT & SUPPLY CHAIN)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing purchase orders (POs) for required goods and services.
• Maintain records of supplier performance, including delivery timelines and product quality.
• Help maintain optimal stock levels by tracking inventory and forecasting future needs.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all purchasing transactions.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve any order discrepancies or delays.
• Assist in creating purchasing reports to track performance and inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or finance
• Experience in a related role but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and time management skills
• Willing to do other duties assigned by her superior
