Outreach and Engagement:
- Visit potential clients, customers, or community members in person, over the phone, or online to promote products, services, or causes.
- Collect information on customer preferences, needs, or feedback to improve business offerings.
- Promote awareness of specific products, services, or causes through door-to-door visits, street campaigns, or event-based activities.
Sales and Lead Generation:
- Engage in direct sales by presenting products or services and encouraging purchases or sign-ups.
- Qualify leads and gather contact details from individuals interested in further information or making a purchase.
- Achieve sales or outreach goals, typically set by the organization.
Data Collection:
- Collect surveys, petitions, or customer feedback to assess public opinion or market demand.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with potential customers, including contact information, feedback, and sales data.
Market Research:
- Gather and report on public sentiment or trends based on interactions with potential customers or community members.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales strategies or marketing efforts based on customer feedback.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build rapport with individuals and potential clients, ensuring positive relationships that could lead to future sales or support.
- Provide information about the organization, answer questions, and address concerns.
Reporting:
- Submit reports on the number of interactions, leads, sales, or feedback collected to supervisors or sales managers.
- Provide suggestions for improvements based on customer or public responses.
Requirements
Purchaser:- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills; proficiency in procurement software.
- Technical Skills: Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
Canvasser:- Education: High school diploma required; college degree may be beneficial.
- Experience: 1-2 years in sales, marketing, or customer service.
- Skills: Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- Physical: Ability to work outdoors and engage with the public in various conditions.
- Technical: Familiarity with CRM tools or mobile applications for tracking data.
