Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement & Consultation

• Greet customers proactively and assess their specific needs, preferences, and budgets.
• Explain technical concepts and product features in clear, easy-to-understand language.
• Recommend suitable products, accessories, or add-ons to provide complete solutions (upselling/cross-selling).

2. Product Demonstrations & Direct Sales

• Conduct live product demonstrations to showcase key features, performance, and user benefits.
• Compare different models, brands, or specifications (e.g., CPU, RAM, display types, battery life) to guide buying decisions.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by store management or brand agency.

3. Merchandising & Store Display

• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked display counters and demo units.
• Ensure all marketing collaterals, price tags, specification sheets, and promotional signs are accurate and up to date.
• Monitor store inventory levels and report low stock or high-demand items to the branch manager or account supervisor.

4. After-Sales Support & Customer Service

• Assist customers with basic device setup, initial configuration, and warranty activation where applicable.
• Handle customer inquiries, product returns, exchanges, or complaints according to company guidelines.
• Build customer loyalty by offering friendly, trustworthy, and professional service.

5. Market Reporting & Competitor Insights

• Track daily sales figures, customer inquiries, and foot traffic trends.
• Gather feedback on customer preferences and report competitor activities (e.g., price drops, promotions, new product launches) to management.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

1. Education & Training

• High School Diploma, Senior High School (SHS) graduate, or Vocational/Technical degree (e.g., Computer Systems Servicing, Information Technology, Business Administration).

2. Product & Technical Knowledge

• Strong familiarity with the specific industry (e.g., laptops, smartphones, home appliances, audio gear, or telecom services).
• Ability to explain key specifications clearly (e.g., for IT retail: processors, RAM, graphics cards, storage types, operating systems).

3. Work Experience

• Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, promoted brand activations, or direct consumer sales is preferred (often 6 months to 1 year).

4. Essential Skills

• Communication: Clear verbal communication and active listening skills in English and the local language.
• Persuasion & Negotiation: Ability to highlight product value and close sales effectively without being pushy.
