Job description:

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop civil engineering solutions for infrastructure projects, including structural systems, site plans and construction methodologies
• Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation using CAD software and other industry-standard tools
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and timelines are adhered to
• Monitor construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes and safety regulations
• Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections throughout the construction phases
• Analyse project data and prepare reports on engineering findings, project progress and recommendations for improvement
• Contribute to cost estimation and project budgeting in liaison with project management teams
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure all records comply with relevant regulatory requirements
• Other tasks assigned by immediate head, management, or member of the management.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline from a recognised institution
• Professional Engineering license (PE) or equivalent qualification in the Philippines or willingness to obtain one
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in civil engineering design, site management or construction supervision
• Strong proficiency with CAD software and other civil engineering design tools
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety standards and regulatory requirements applicable in the Philippines
• Excellent technical drawing and design skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and propose practical engineering solutions
• Experience with infrastructure, commercial, or industrial projects is highly desirable
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green engineering principles is advantageous
