Project In-Charge Civil Engineer (Project-Based | 3-Month Contract)

Location: San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corp – Cavite

We are currently looking for a Project In-Charge Civil Engineer for a project-based role (3-month duration only). The selected candidate will oversee construction activities and ensure project completion within quality, safety, and timeline requirements.

Job Qualifications:

• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC Registered)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• With 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction, project management, or site supervision
• Knowledgeable in structural analysis, design, and construction methods
• Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, SAP2000, MS Project)
• Familiar with local building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Willing to work on-site, travel to project locations, and render extended hours when required

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as the Project In-Charge for all on-site civil works
• Supervise and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications
• Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, estimates, and technical reports
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders for smooth project implementation
• Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and ensure safety compliance
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and materials required for construction
• Resolve on-site issues and provide appropriate engineering solutions
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines
• Prepare documentation such as daily reports, progress reports, and as-built plans
• Attend coordination meetings and provide updates to project heads or clients
• Assist in securing permits, inspections, and other government requirements
