Position Summary

The Project Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day field supervision of construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and CAS quality standards. This role serves as the on-site leader, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Field Leadership

• Manage all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Ensure construction is performed according to approved plans, specifications, and codes
• Maintain daily site logs, reports, and progress documentation

Schedule & Productivity

• Develop, update, and enforce project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager
• Plan daily and weekly work activities to meet milestones and deadlines
• Identify potential delays and proactively implement corrective actions

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce CAS safety policies and OSHA regulations at all times
• Conduct daily safety meetings, inspections, and toolbox talks
• Immediately address unsafe conditions or behaviors

Quality Control

• Ensure workmanship meets CAS quality standards and client expectations
• Conduct inspections and coordinate punch lists and corrective work
• Verify materials and installations comply with project requirements

Communication & Coordination

• Serve as primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and design teams
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with local authorities
• Maintain clear communication with Project Managers regarding progress, issues, and changes

Cost & Resource Management

• Monitor labor productivity and material usage
• Assist in managing jobsite costs and minimizing rework
• Support procurement and delivery scheduling of materials and equipment

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proven leadership and subcontractor management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
