Civil Engineer

About the role

This role oversees and monitors all construction and development activities in coordination with Engineering and Park Development Team, including the supervision of mausoleum, garden, and presidential niche construction. The position manages interment and maintenance processes of the park and ensures all construction activities comply with prior approvals and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor all construction and development activities in coordination with Engineering and Park Development Team
• Aid the Engineering and Park Development Team in land surveying and layout works, when necessary
• Develop and prepare certification for work accomplishments
• Ensure that all documents such as licenses/permits needed from construction projects are secured and submitted
• Maintain a permanent record of all mausoleum and niches constructed, including owner, contractor, cost and date of construction
• Supervise and prepare weekly status reports of all projects being undertaken by the Engineering and Park Development Team
• Keep track, coordinate and/or oversee construction of outside contractors and in-house construction
• Maintain sets of plans for mausoleum, garden and presidential niches
• Aid the Branch Manager/Marketing Staff in dealing with clients interested in building garden and presidential niche by handling technical aspects of the structure
• Oversee the interment and maintenance process of the park in coordination with the Interment & Maintenance Supervisor

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Licensed Civil Engineer
• Work experience in civil construction, site supervision, or land development
• Proficient in site surveying, layout work, blueprint reading, AutoCAD, project progress reporting, contractor oversight, and securing permits
• Strong communication skills to liaise technical details between clients, branch management, contractors, and central engineering
• High attention to detail for maintaining permanent construction registries and ensuring work complies with approved designs
