Project Site Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in overseeing HVAC construction projects on-site. This role involves supporting project execution, coordinating with property management and site personnel, and ensuring the timely completion of HVAC installation activities. The ideal candidate is technically knowledgeable, organized, and capable of handling both site coordination and technical concerns.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and supervising on-site HVAC construction activities.
2. Lead and manage site personnel to ensure successful project execution and completion.
3. Prepare necessary materials, tools, and documentation prior to construction activities.
4. Coordinate and maintain communication with property management to support project implementation.
5. Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
6. Conduct site inspections and assist in resolving technical issues related to HVAC systems and equipment.
7. Maintain communication with property management personnel during and after construction to support project monitoring and completion.
8. Collect and organize project acceptance and turnover documents, and coordinate with property management during project acceptance.
9. Prepare project reports, updates, and documentation for management review.
10. Report and escalate issues to management as needed to ensure smooth project flow.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. At least 1 year of experience in handling HVAC projects, construction, or related engineering work.
3. Knowledgeable in VRF systems and/or water-cooled air-conditioning systems.
4. Familiarity with HVAC installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices.
5. Project management and site coordination skills are an advantage.
6. Ability to assess and diagnose faults in air-conditioning systems and provide effective solutions.
7. Capable of handling general air-conditioning equipment and system failures.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project documentation tools.
