Job description:

The Project Engineer is to support on-site execution of mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. The Project Engineer will coordinate between the design office and site team, ensuring smooth implementation of plans, timely resolution of technical issues, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Supervision and Execution:

• Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Ensure that all mechanical works comply with design plans, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Oversees preparation, submission, and follow-up of billings, progress payments, and collections to ensure timely revenue generation.

Technical Support and Problem-Solving:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site.
• Provide technical guidance to contractors and field teams to resolve engineering challenges effectively.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain quality documentation such as inspection and test plans and daily inspection reports.
• Maintain logs of quality inspections, testing, and progress billing.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Conduct inspections to ensure work adheres to safety regulations, codes, and quality standards.
• Prepare reports documenting project progress, compliance status, and potential risks.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to commute or relocate within Muntinlupa City.
