Job Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and engineering support throughout the construction project lifecycle. This role ensures that construction activities are executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The Site Engineer works closely with project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee assigned construction activities and work packages on-site.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct site surveys, measurements, and setting-out activities as required.
• Review and verify technical drawings, plans, and designs for accuracy and constructability.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and engineering support to site personnel and subcontractors.
• Ensure work is completed within established schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Inspect ongoing works and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes and regulations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
• Monitor and report project milestones, risks, delays, and resource requirements.
• Assist in planning and implementing construction methodologies and work sequences.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and sustainability policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with local authorities, utility providers, and relevant agencies when required.
• Identify and resolve engineering and construction challenges to minimize project disruptions.
• Support project closeout activities, including punch listing, inspections, and documentation turnover.
