Description

The Project Management and Installation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the installation process of SMEG products for residential, commercial, and project-based clients. This role includes planning, coordinating, and executing projects from start to finish, ensuring that installations are completed on time, within budget, and according to client specifications. The manager will also lead a team of project coordinators, installers, and external partners to deliver high-quality service and ensure client satisfaction.


  • Lead the planning and execution of installation projects, including creating project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product) and external contractors or suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of installations.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather requirements, clarify project specifications, and ensure alignment on expectations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end installation process, ensuring that all products are installed correctly, safely, and according to SMEG’s quality standards.
  • Manage the scheduling of installations, ensuring projects are completed on time and without delays.
  • Troubleshoot any installation issues that arise during the project and provide on-the-spot solutions.
  • Supervise and manage a team of project coordinators, installers, and subcontractors, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and training to carry out installations successfully.
  • Monitor team performance, providing coaching, feedback, and ongoing training to improve team efficiency and skill development.
  • Foster a collaborative and proactive team environment to meet installation goals and deadlines.

Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on product installations, construction, or engineering. Experience in managing installation teams or handling residential and commercial projects is preferred.
  • Skills:
  1. Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  2. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  5. Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
  6. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar tools).
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, teams, and contractors.
