Project Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project documentation to prepare accurate and timely cost estimates.
• Conduct quantity take-offs using Bluebeam, CostX, or similar tools.
• Prepare and submit tenders and scope of works for subcontractors.
• Source, compare, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Maintain updated pricing databases and assess contract variations.
• Attend tender interviews and contribute to value engineering discussions.
• Evaluate estimating processes for efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction estimating (preferably in Australia).
• Qualification in Building & Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related trade.
• Proficiency in CostX, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
