We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and technical proposals for electrical and solar-related projects. This role involves reviewing project plans and specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, coordinating with engineering teams, and developing competitive project costings while ensuring quality and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and RFQ/RFP documents to prepare detailed quantity take-offs (QTOs) for electrical systems and components.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor services, and logistics requirements.
• Develop and submit comprehensive proposal documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), and basis-of-estimate summaries for internal and client review.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, and procurement teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of project estimates.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in project handovers by providing detailed estimate references and supporting documents to the operations team.
• Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, industry regulations, and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Preferably a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
• Proven experience in electrical estimation
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and construction methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and estimation software/tools.
