- Analyze project specifications and drawings.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers.
- Assess risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Provide detailed reports and presentations on estimates.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience as a project estimator in construction or related industries.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in quality management, risk assessment, and project coordination; familiarity with design patterns is essential.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare accurate estimates, manage project costs, assess risks, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with occasional site visits; ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities.
