- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
- Source quality materials and equipment for construction projects.
- Conduct market research to evaluate suppliers.
- Maintain inventory and assess supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers for timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and budget.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement within the construction industry. Can work IMMEDIATELY and COMPLETE REQUIREMENTS
- Skills and Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation skills, proficiency in budgeting, and advanced computer skills.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Manage sourcing, procurement, purchase orders, inventory, and supplier relationships effectively.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with site visits as necessary, potential for high-stress situations during negotiations.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, analytical thinker, proactive, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
