POSITION SUMMARY

Good Neighbors International Philippines will implement a 1.5 years project entitled “Samsung Village Project” in Calamba, Laguna. This project is in partnership with the Schools Division Office of Calamba and two elementary schools. The project will focus on schools’ infrastructure improvement and provision of digital libraries. This will enhance the educational equity and learning outcomes creating safe, conducive and sustainable, and technology-

enhanced learning environments for more than 2,700 learners and 79 teachers.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the SDO of Calamba and 2 schools to facilitate efficient and effective implementation of the project.

• Supervise the construction and improvement of the school facilities.

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the project.

• Facilitate project budget management, financial reporting in accordance with GNIP policies and guidelines.

• Prepare and submit reports and documents as required including monthly, quarterly, yearly and final project reports.

• Organize and facilitate the implementation of the activities such as MOA signing, turn-over ceremony and others.

• Provide regular project updates to Good Neighbors’ Head Office.

• Closely coordinate with the contractors to ensure timely completion of the project.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Civil Engineer

• 2-3 years of experience in project management in the construction industry.

• Good coordination and communication skills (verbal and written).

• Being a resident in Calamba is an advantage.

• Available to start ASAP.
