- Weighing chemicals for accurate rubber calculations

- Grinding rubber / Cutting rubber

- Joining rubber pieces to form circles and create tires

- Spraying silicone on rubber produced from the tire department

- Holding two joints together to prevent the rubber from separating while cooking

- Checking for rejects in the finished products

- Working on the production assembly line

- Understanding the mechanics of the product

- Attention to detail to ensure correct assembly and to identify any faults

- Physically demanding job as some lifting is required

- Awareness of Health and Safety standards, along with a strong understanding of Dignity and Diversity in the workplace

- Good personal hygiene and a tidy, appropriate dress sense; uniform will be provided and must be worn

- Good personal skills and physical fitness are required as this job will involve some manual lifting

- This role will include repetitive work with some machines being manually operated
