The Section Officer – Production is responsible for overseeing the operations of a specific production section, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. This role acts as a bridge between production staff and management, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities within the assigned production section
• Ensure production targets are met according to schedule
• Maintain product quality and adherence to company standards
• Monitor compliance with safety, sanitation, and operational procedures (e.g., GMP, HACCP)
• Guide and mentor production staff, providing on-the-job coaching
• Assist in manpower allocation and scheduling for optimal efficiency
• Document production output, incidents, and operational reports
• Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to management
• Coordinate with other departments (QA, Maintenance, Warehouse) for seamless operations
• Address operational issues promptly and implement corrective actions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related field preferred
• At least 1–3 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of production processes, food safety, and quality standards
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, shifting schedule environment
