JOB SUMMARY

The Production Staff must be able to follow instructions and adhere to Food Safety Principles and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) when on duty in the Production Floor.  He must be physically fit and strong enough to withstand the cold environment while at work.

Proper grooming, cleanliness, good hygiene and the non-wearing of jewelry are required for this position so as to maintain the good quality of the food/meat being produced.

BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Cutting, grinding, deboning, and preparing meats for sale.

·      Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.

·      Weighing, packaging, and boxing products.

·      Performing quality inspections on meats and other products.

·      Adhering to food safety and sanitation controls.

·      Coordinating with Production Head regarding finished product specifications.

·      Able to commit to Night Duty as Shifting Schedule is required in Production Department.

MINIMUM JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATION

·      College Level, Vocational, or at least High School graduate.

·      Food Preparation Training or Meat Cutting experience.

·      Ability to use Cutting Tools (Manual or Mechanical/Electric), stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments.

·      Meat Deboning Skills are a plus factor.

·      Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts.

·      Good communication and task/time management skills.
