GENERAL FUNCTION:

Under the direction of Production Engineer, this position is responsible in the cost-effective maintenance and monitoring of equipment for production at the least possible downtime and ensuring that all the production equipment is always available and in good running condition.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs cost-effective repair and maintenance of all production equipment.
2. In-charge of doing all adjustments to get the best settings of all filling and packing machines of production in able for the machine to run properly and effectively.
3. In-charge of monitoring all the tools inside the production floor and make sure that all tools are properly clean, organized and complete.
4. Assist the production engineers in the implementation of the scheduled preventive maintenance of production equipment.
5. In-charge in doing necessary repairs in case there is a problem with the machine after set up or in between equipment operation.
6. Ensures availability of necessary materials like consumable items needed for the maintenance or repair of the equipment, spare parts and required tools in performing the repair or maintenance of production equipment, facility equipment and facilities.
7. Provide guidance or instructions to non-technical personnel or personnel from other departments on proper use of auxiliary equipment, machine, utility or facility pertaining to operation and safety.
8. Oversees proper disposal of hazardous wastes generated.
9. Ensures implementation of Preventive Maintenance of production machinery as scheduled in the maintenance calendar.
10. Ensures safety in all Engineering activities and functions to avoid accidents or injuries in the performance of duties.
11. Participates in companywide programs and encourages the team to participate also.
12. Performs necessary monitoring activities and data gathering to address equipment issues, improve equipment operation and other engineering processes.
13. Performs special projects and tasks as required by the immediate superior.

*Work assignment is on shifting schedules

• BS Industrial Technology or Vocational course;
• minimum 1year work experience in production equipment and facility maintenance in a manufacturing set-up
