Job Description

A Production Planner acts as a crucial link, bridging sales forecasts and actual production, ensuring smooth operations and efficient use of company resources.


Key Responsibilities

  • Demand & Capacity Analysis: Analyze sales forecasts, orders, and production capacity to predict needs.
  • Scheduling & Planning: Develop detailed production plans and schedules, allocating resources like materials, labor, and machinery.
  • Material Coordination: Work with procurement to ensure raw materials arrive on time and manage inventory levels.
  • Monitoring & Control: Track production progress, identify bottlenecks, resolve issues, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Reporting & Communication: Maintain accurate records (work orders, reports) and collaborate with other departments (sales, quality, operations).
  • Process Improvement: Find ways to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
