- A project administrator is usually next in the chain of command behind the project manager. Project coordinator duties are therefore about supporting the project manager in managing projects.
- Project coordinators need to excel in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. There is always something that needs attention, more often many things, so the ideal project coordinator must be comfortable in a stressful atmosphere.
- DESIGNING AND CONTROLLING THE PROJECT SCHEDULE:
- Break projects into doable tasks and set time frames and goals reflected on Gantt chart schedule.
- Ensuring deadlines are met.
- Monitor project progress and address potential issues
- Measure and report on project performance
- ASSISTING AND SUPPORTING THE PROJECT MANAGER
- Delegating tasks to team members. Making sure that team has to execute the project.
- Tracking and communicating project risks and opportunities.
- PERFORMS ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS:
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders
- COORDINATES WITH TEAM AND THE CLIENTS TO DETERMINE PROJECT’S OBJECTIVES
- Answers phones and emails, schedules and confirms appointments, and inputs customer data into company systems.
- Organizes workflow and appointment by reading and routing correspondence, collecting customer information, and managing assignments.
- Scheduling of site visits and meetings with clients

- Bachelor's degree in business, Industrial Engineer or related field of study.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
