Product Specialist

Responsibilities

• Work under the Sales Director to align product direction with customer requirements
• Learn in-depth knowledge of GPS tracking devices, accessories and software (web & mobile apps), including features and benefits
• Conduct product testing, calibration, configuration, and evaluation to ensure new features meet quality standards prior to deployment or implementation
• Use of various configuration tools provided by the company
• Propose product enhancements based on customer feedback
• Handle complex customer issues escalated from support team and conduct root cause analysis and resolution if applicable
• Do manual testing (e.g regression testing and etc) and create manual test cases for product and platform testing.
• Document and create reports for system defects, critical issues, such as system failures or major incidents.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure alignment on product knowledge and concerns
• Assist for product inquiries, issues and other related concerns to products
• Train internal teams on product usage, specifications and platform navigation, including hands-on testing sessions
• Train onboard trainees to provide an overview of all the products/platforms to enhance their understanding and ensure a smooth transition into their role
• Conduct evaluation/assessment for onboard trainees
• Creating and updating of documents used for training materials such as assessment form and etc.
• Create and maintain product documentation, presentations, and user guides
• Use of other equipment such as laser engraving or lamination as requested.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of IT, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any related courses.
• Computer literate and can use various configuration tools for the products.
• Able to read and conduct basic wiring diagrams/connections
• Familiarity with IoT Devices or SaaS
