II. ENGAGEMENT DETAILS:

• Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (Fixed-Term)
• Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension or renewal
• Work Setup: Hybrid
• Work Location: East Tower, 8912 Aseana Ave., corner of Pres. Diosdado Macapagal Blvd., Aseana City, Paranaque City, 1701 Metro Manila, Philippines.
• Work Schedule: Regular Work Hours and Work Days
• Service Fee: Php 60,000.00 to Php 70,000.00 (Subject to final approval)

III. OBJECTIVE:

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who will lead the end-to-end development of digital products—from product discovery and strategy through delivery, launch, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a strong background working with software products, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and possesses sufficient technical knowledge to guide engineering discussions, prioritize product initiatives, and deliver high-impact solutions in an Agile environment.

IV. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from user research and discovery through product launch and continuous iteration.
• Gather user feedback and collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to define innovative product solutions.
• Define product vision, roadmap, and feature priorities aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring effective prioritization based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
• Work closely with engineering teams throughout architecture discussions, development, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities through data, analytics, and market insights.
• Prepare clear product requirements, specifications, and internal/external product documentation.
• Ensure alignment among engineering, commercial, marketing, operations, and leadership teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive execution by establishing clear milestones, monitoring progress, and enabling rapid product iterations.
• Support successful product launches by coordinating cross-functional readiness activities.
• Promote best practices in product development, release management, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence.

V. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or any related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience within software or technology organizations.
• Candidates from related disciplines (Project Management, Software Development, QA, UX/UI Design, etc.) who are transitioning into Product Management may also be considered, provided they have significant experience working with software products and cross-functional development teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading software products from concept through launch and continuous iteration.
• At least 2 years of experience in online retail, eCommerce, or Internet-based product development.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, deployment, monitoring, system performance, and scalability.
• Able to communicate technical concepts effectively and facilitate architecture discussions with engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent product backlog management and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate business problems into product solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of thriving in fast-paced execution environments.

VI. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience building marketplace, SaaS, fintech, or eCommerce platforms.
• Experience with microservices-based architectures and modern cloud-based systems.
• Strong understanding of product analytics, experimentation, and data-driven decision making.
• Experience collaborating with distributed or remote engineering teams.
• Experience mentoring Product Managers or leading cross-functional product teams.
