Network Design:

• Develop fiber optic network designs for various applications, including middle-mile, last-mile, and Fiber to the Home (FTTH) projects. 
• Plan and map fiber optic cable routes, considering terrain, existing infrastructure, and potential challenges. 
• Determine the optimal placement of equipment like amplifiers, splitters, and other network components. 
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations. 

Technical Expertise:

• Possess a strong understanding of fiber optic technologies, including different types of fiber, connectors, and network protocols. 
• Analyze network requirements and translate them into detailed design specifications. 
• Conduct site surveys and analyze data to determine optimal fiber network routes. 

Project Management:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field technicians to ensure successful project execution. 
• Develop and manage project budgets and timelines. 
• Prepare detailed design documentation, including plans, specifications, and drawings. 

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiber optic network performance and reliability. 
• Maintain and update fiber optic network designs as needed. 

Location:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field).
• Experience in fiber optic network design and implementation.
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, or other fiber planning tools.
• Knowledge of fiber optic standards, technologies, and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with permitting processes and ROW regulations is a plus.
