Procurement Officer

Job Function:

Responsible for managing purchasing activities, inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting warehouse-related procurement requirements to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing and ordering materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, orders, deliveries, and availability.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and other procurement documents.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Conduct supplier and warehouse visits when necessary.
• Assist in evaluating suppliers and negotiating prices and terms.
• Prepare procurement proposals, reports, and presentations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Preferably with 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory, or a related position.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledgeable in purchasing procedures, supplier coordination, purchase orders, and inventory management.
• Preferably with experience in creating proposals and presentations.
• Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willing to conduct supplier visits, warehouse visits, and other field-related activities when required.
