A global American consulting firm providing procurement services to Japanese firms around the world is hiring a Japanese Procurement Specialist.

Position: Japanese Procurement Specialist 

Salary: P 80,000 to P 120,000

Industry: American consulting firm

Work Arrangement: Work from Home 2 days (Onsite 3 days)

Type: Hybrid work arrangement 

Schedule: Dayshift (9am to 6pm)

Working Days: 5 days a week (sat and sun days off)

Requirements of the position:

• Filipino who speak Japanese
• Filipino who can speak Japanese (Around JLPT N1, N2, N3)
• Fluency in Japanese and English
• Has procurement background for 3 years - 5 years experience
• Having procurement background is a must for the role
• Must be degree holder of any course
• Open to male and Female 
• Knowledge in sourcing processes, supplier management, and contract negotiations 
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills 

Duties of Japanese Procurement Specialist

• Source and identify the Japanese suppliers for the client company
• Collect proposals and agreements and find the qualified suppliers 
• Create market research, Price comparison from the proposals received 
• Evaluate the pricing, quotation and services of the suppliers
• Maintain active relationships with Japanese suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with Japanese suppliers
• Manage, Update and Maintain procurement-related agreements
• Review the agreement and verify if the services are indicated on the statement of work
