Procurement Officer

Our company is looking for two individuals to help us in this department: International and Local.

For the job itself, the company is looking for individuals who will be able to work together, first and foremost.

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for handling either Local or International procurement activities, importation processes, supplier coordination, and preparation for sales quotations. The role ensures smooth coordination and a good relationship with brokers, suppliers, and internal departments while monitoring shipment status, importation expenses, and procurement documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Functions

• Prepare Purchase Orders for suppliers
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding orders, shipment schedules, and documentation
• Source and coordinate with accredited suppliers and contractors
• Compare supplier quotations and negotiate pricing when necessary
• Maintain accurate procurement and importation records
• Prepare reports related to procurement, importation expenses, shipment status

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders regarding shipment processing and delivery
• Coordinate project material requirements and Project Teams
• Monitor importation schedules, shipping documents, and custom requirements
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of importation related documents
• Provide overall coordination support for project operations
