The Jr. Procurement personnel is expected to assist in the procurement-related activities carried out by the section which includes (but is not limited to) coordination both internal and external stakeholders, sourcing/canvass, documents handling and data encoding.

Procurement:

• Assist procurement personnel in purchasing parts, tools, equipment, and services needed.
• Follow up supplier on documents needed, i.e., documents to process VCF and sanction checking for new providers.
• Chases providers for order status and shipment confirmation.

Sourcing:

• Canvass vendor sources online and physical stores and purchase requirements in the local market.

Record Keeping:

• Archives documents of purchase orders, list of tenders, provider list, and other records.
• Records data in PR/PO Tracker, GSE Report, and other non-confidential files.
• Perform other related duties as required by the Support Services Manager and/or direct superior.

Qualifications:

• At least one (1) year of relevant experience in the field of procurement (Buying/Sourcing)
• Graduate of any four (4) year course
• With strong written and oral communication skills
• Competency in using Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must be a team player
