Description

The Procurement Specialist for FFO is responsible in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement processes. This role involves managing supplier, vendor and third-party providers relationship, managing cost , ensuring compliance with the company’s procurement policies and procedures, implementing efficient procurement process and data management and reporting.  


  • Sources and evaluates potential suppliers and contractors for goods and services through phone call, email and on-site canvassing
  • Requests for quotation, negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals while ensuring quality standards and endorse it for review of the business unit head
  • Conducts review of supplier performance to ensure they meet the company’s quality, cost, and delivery requirements  and performance standards/SLA
  • Works with the AVP-FFO in setting the criteria/ scorecard  for suppliers, monitors regular assessment and communicates the performance review result to suppliers and third-party providers for improvement and resolution
  • Communicates with suppliers, vendors and third-party provider to effectively address and resolve supplier-related issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stays abreast with industry regulatory and statutory requirements and ensures that all procurement activities comply with legal, ethical and organizational standards.
  • Conducts background check on the supplier and third-party provider prior entering into service agreement to ensure its legitimacy and performance reviews
  • Works closely with the Restaurant Operations team on procurement related concerns through consistent communication and timely feedback
  • Organizes and maintains accurate records of all procurement transactions and contracts, a directory of suppliers, vendors and third-party providers of goods and services needed in operations 

Requirement

Minimum Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.


Minimum Job Experience

  • Must have at least 3-5 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
