Job description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations and ensure the timely, cost-effective acquisition of materials, goods, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing all aspects of purchasing from ordering to delivery.

2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for various goods and services.

3. Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to secure favorable terms.

4. Maintain strong relationship with suppliers for quality assurance and reliability.

5. Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with the hotel’s and casino’s operational goal.

6. Collaborate with department heads to understand their specific purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services

7. Prepare and manage the purchasing budget, ensuring spending aligns with financial targets.

8. Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.

9. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety requirements.

10. Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of received goods.

11. Generate reports on purchasing activities, inventory status, and supplier performance.

12. Analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.

13. Supervise and train purchasing staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

14. Delegate tasks and responsibilities within the purchasing team.

15. Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, ensuring continuity of operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relative field such as business, accounting, engineering or logistics, preferable with Supply Chain Management experience

A master’s degree is an advantage which can demonstrate advanced knowledge and help with promotions

With at least 5 years managerial experience in the hotel industry and casino.
