A. Procurement Management

1. Design, document, and comply with the internal purchasing processes; ensure compliance with company policies or standards.

2. Manage the sourcing out of vendors/suppliers with the right balance of cost, quality and speed of delivery.

3. Manage the evaluation, negotiation, and makes recommendations on critical purchases and general materials required by the company.

4. Searches and explore the market for new and alternative ideas, products and materials, which will contribute to improve efficiency and profitability.

5. Develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate through market research and supplier profiling.

6. Negotiate aggressively with Vendors/Suppliers to get the best and most cost-effective price.

7. Source for lowest price through negotiations and/or working with end users to develop and qualify alternate sources.

8. Conduct due diligence in recommending Vendors/Suppliers for accreditation to the Accreditation Committee.

9. Maintain good working relationship with vendors/suppliers and internal customers by establishing good rapport and professional working relationships.

10. Improvement of Procurement and other initiatives.
